How can I subtly let the guy I know that I'm in love with him?

I have been in love with a guy named James for approximately two years now(see my other question for more info on our nonexistent relationship). We don't communicate, but I would like to let him know that I adore him. I am willing to risk heartbreak in exchange for getting my feelings off my chest. However, I don't want to scare him by blurting out all that I feel for him. So what can I do to let him know that I like him? Thank you in advance for your insight:)
