How do I tell my boss the place is falling apart without getting fired?
I work in a facility that houses people with mental retardation and orted other problems. Recently I got a new boss. She is horrible at the position. She constantly degrades the previous supervisor I had before even though she did an awesome job. It gets truly annoying. The supervisor I have now has lied to the clients families. Withheld emergency information because she said she was confused on the legality of the disclosure. She is highly unorganized.The place is always a mess. It is her job to gather the paperwork necessary for doctor appointments. The information is never sufficient. These are just a few examples. Her lack of empathy and compion for the residents is obvious in every way. She is obviously not meant for the position. I can not complain to HR. That is how she got her position. She is good friends with the HR lady. That would cost me my job. I ask this to people with disabilities because I have worked there for a few years and truly care about my clients. I do not believe they are getting the best care possible but they are not being abused so I have no reason to call APS. I would have quit but I do not want to leave my clients because I still believe I still have alot left to offer. So how do I get this place back to the way it was before without losing my job in the process?
