What is a good guitar amp?

PLEASE READ!!!!!!! I will get a electric guitar for my birthday tomorrow! Yay! I might get a strat from Fender, but I am not sure. I want a good not bad amp. My dad plays guitar so it can't be just for beginners. We don't want it to be beginner or pro, and we don't know what to get. Please don't let the cost be over $150. We can only spend $600 (My birthday money!) so I can get the guitar, amp, strap, picks, string, book of songs, and more. So tell me what amp I can get that is under $150, NOT BEGINNER OR PRO!
