6 months after breakup and I feel mentally ill, I need help ...?

I am so heartbroken from a breakup that happened earlier this year. For almost 6 months now I have spent everyday miserable. I can't even get things done. I dream about him all the time, he lives in my concious and sub-concious. I wake up sad and wanting to cry because he is the first thing I think of when I wake up. I am not interested in meeting any other men because he met my criteria in every aspect...all the way from the shallow physical to the chemistry! Ok so, I'm sort of at a loss about what I want to do with my future. Ever since I took Biology last year [grade 10, a year earlier than when I should normally take it.]; I've never been so fascinated before with the human body, how it works and it's anatomy. I did really well in that cl as well. [92%/A+]. After I took that cl, I was extremely keen on becoming a doctor, trying to obtain as much information about it as I could and work my way towards it. Currently, I'm taking advance placement chemistry and physics and I am doing well in those cles as well. [93%/A+ in Chemistry and 94%/A+ in physics.] Mathematics is pretty much my own brand of heroin as I do it for fun as well [LOL!]. But anyways, now what I want to know is...is it worth being a doctor? I have half a mind [with a pion] to be one. I want to help people and save lives. But on the other hand...I really want to make [really good] money and still have time to be with family and stick to the hobbies I've had since adolescence in the future. I also hear that doctors have high divorce/suicide rates...but I've never experienced stress or a headache [pively] ever in my life. Perhaps engineering? Since I'm so fad on mathematics and physics. It's really hard for me to decide and I've only got a year to decide. [Yeah a YEAR, but it would make more sense if you saw how indecisive I can be.] Help and detailed suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. Have you ever read "The Night Angel Trilogy" by Brent Weeks? If you haven't then I'll warn you your idea of stones and activators is extremely close to his idea of the ka'kari and the ka'karifer so you might want to change it to something other than stones, eg weapons or talismans. The hand mark thing is a bit like eragon so you might want to move the burn location eg to the heart. Other than that I think you have actually came out of the usual LOTR esq rut that it's so easy to fall into when writing a fantasy novel. The idea itself is good, just watch out for plots that have already got some of your ideas in and just twist them slightly. Hope I get to read the full story at some point. Hope this helps =D

Bauer vapor x:60 or s17?

I have both my bauer is a kane curve 67 flex and my s17 is heatly 65, I can't decide which I play better with. I am a center, take a lot of wristers and A LOT of snapshots, and an occasional slapper, but there is one drawback,l my x:60 has a small chip in the heel but the blade feels just as stiff as it always has been and it doesnt crack or anythings when i try to lightly bend it a little and it sounds fine when i tap it against the ground and so will the effect the stick performance or not? Ear infection will not go away.?

I was diagnosed with Eustachian tube dysfunction about a month ago. I have had 2 ear infections over the last several months. I have currently have an ear infection that started about 2 weeks ago. I had a cold which caused the ear infection. I went to see the doctor who put me on 875 mg Amoxicillin. After around 5 days of treatment the infection got worse. I went back to the doctor who confirmed the infection had gotten worse. She then put on AMOX-CLAV(7 days) and Ciprodex ear drops(10 days). I have one full day of the AMOX-CLAV left and the symptoms in my ear are a little better but still not 100 %. I have also developed a terrible dry cough which I was told could be drainage from my ear. I will go back to the doctor in one week. Has anyone ever had this problem and how did it get fixed?

Both telescopes will allow you to see the moons of Jupiter and the rings on Saturn plus a few deep sky objects such as the Orion Nebula, the Andromeda Galaxy and say the Globular Cluster in Hercules but remember: the better telescope to use for planetary observation is going to be the refractor because it will give you better resolution to see planetary detail. The better scope for deep sky objects will be the reflector because of better light gathering power. One bit of advice I can give you is that the telescope sizes you quote are a little too small to be really useful to the amateur astronomer. I recommend the following as minimum sizes: refractor 80mm dia; reflector 150mm dia. These do not sound much bigger than the sizes you stated but in term of optical surface area they will make a difference. Pricewise they will be more expensive but I think you will be glad you paid more. Consider alternative brands such as Meade and Vixon. I bought a 8" Celestron Schmidt-Cegrain a few years ago and I was never happy with the quality of the optics. Probably the best recommendation you can get will be from your local astronomy society. These people will have the latest gen on equipment and some societies lend out telescopes too, some fairly large. If you are considering a reflector for casual observation, consider a Dobsonian for best mix of size x price. Finally, always make sure the mount and tripod are as rock stable as possible. Good telescopes are useless if (like me) they wobble.

Is there a way I can "refill" the liquid in my Magic 8 Ball?

After 25+ years, some of the blue liquid inside my Magic 8 Ball has evaporated. It still "works" but it is hard to get an answer to float properly. (It keeps spinning around like a buoy.) I'd like to replenish the liquid, but I don't think opening it is a good idea. Once removed, I doubt I would be able to replace the window without permanently destroying the seal. I've thought about submerging it in water (or Windex) to see if some of the external liquid would seep back into the ball, but I'm not that optimistic. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I grew up in a Danish family, of course the cheese would be a much healthier choice. It contains proteins, margarine and er do not. The bread you are speaking of is probably some sort of predominately Rye bread. although there are probably other grains in it including wheat. Rye bread is excellent. I wont go a day without it. Very high in fiber and proteins aswell. Go ahead, FOLLOW THE DANES! Their country is number one afterall!

My best (male) friend and I are in a weird relationship. I work in a facility that houses people with mental retardation and orted other problems. Recently I got a new boss. She is horrible at the position. She constantly degrades the previous supervisor I had before even though she did an awesome job. It gets truly annoying. The supervisor I have now has lied to the clients families. Withheld emergency information because she said she was confused on the legality of the disclosure. She is highly unorganized.The place is always a mess. It is her job to gather the paperwork necessary for doctor appointments. The information is never sufficient. These are just a few examples. Her lack of empathy and compion for the residents is obvious in every way. She is obviously not meant for the position. I can not complain to HR. That is how she got her position. She is good friends with the HR lady. That would cost me my job. I ask this to people with disabilities because I have worked there for a few years and truly care about my clients. I do not believe they are getting the best care possible but they are not being abused so I have no reason to call APS. I would have quit but I do not want to leave my clients because I still believe I still have alot left to offer. So how do I get this place back to the way it was before without losing my job in the process?

Husband in pain, Who might have an idea?

I have a lot on my mind. But, the biggest thing on my mind is my husband. He's been sick for a long time and he refussed to see a doc. So I spend a lot of time seraching the net to see if I can discover what is going on with him. There are so many symptem that he has that go with a lot of different medical conditions. He has developed a knot on the top/right side of his head that is also discolored. He also has a complete discolored area on the right side between his eye and ear. What is the most peaceful way to deal with other people's pride?

In people around me, pride seems to be one of the 2 things that are more challenging for me to deal with. The other one is stubbornness. I think both are caused by lack of exercise of the brain or mental-social blindness. Is just not doing anything about it the best way? Should the learning come from them? Its hard to see your pic, but I noticed his features. I have a daughter with downs so it is more noticeable to me. Like all kids, children with down syndrome are all unique, have their strengths and weaknesses, likes and dislikes. He seems like he is doing rather well. It takes a lot of repetition with learning new skills as you may already know. You can have a cognitive test done that will show his strengths and weaknesses, I had one done by a psychologist. This way you can know what to work on with him. I think its all about the opportunities he is given, and those around him helping him to understand and learn. There are no boundaries and never underestimate. I have been surprises many times.

Losing muscle like crazy--what's going on?

I'm a 22 yr old male who recently started recovering from bulimia this past year. After putting on 30 lbs during recovery, my weight has finally started to stabilize around 150 lbs. Needless to say, I kind of look like a wreck from everything that happened. I've tried to start eating properly and running and working out again, and my weight has slowly started going down to its normal range, but it looks like I'm looking even heavier than normal. The only thing is is that my body seems a lot firmer and there is almost no flab left anymore, but I seem to be losing more definition and muscle tone every week. Like I said, I've been eating and exercising more properly this time, but I'm not looking any leaner--can anyone tell me what's going on?

Well, frat parties being what they are, I had too much to drink and the next day was throwing up so bad that I went to the hospital where they gave me an anti-nausea. I was there for a few hours and then left. About two or three weeks later I attended another party with the same results. What would you do homeschoolers?

I began homeschooling my 9 year old in Oct of this year. I used the curriculum from the school she was in. She will be done in 2 weeks about 2.5 months ahead of her clmates. I think I wanna start an early summer break with her at that time. I have her books already for next year and was thinking we could do little bits here and there over summer break to keep her mind sharp and ready for next year, but I strongly believe a child should have a summer break. Especially in Illinois where the summer is way too short anyway. Would you do this or school right on through summer risking a major burnout for your kid. If schooled right on through she'd be done with 5th by the time her friends started, which sounds good, but at the same time....who cares? In the big picture why would being ahead really matter, she will still be able to go to college if she wants, and will be less stressed I think if she gets good time for just being a kid. Agree....... dissagree?

my partner just bought me a breville mixing wand.. its a multi function mixer.. i already have a food processor and my son is almost at the age where i dont puree much for him. but i still use it once a weekish.. i know i will use the hand wand instead most of the time. its pretty sweet looking. but before i open it up i want to know if the whisk function is good. its all i really need it for. if its not gonna whisk, beat and cream the things i need properly, id rather save the money for a good table mixer and just use my big food processor.. i dont bake that often, so as long as it does the job for making frosting, cheesecakes, meringue.. things like that. anyone have a handheld whisker/wand like this?? its not a "hand mixer" with the two prongs.. its one big whisk with a moter. that also purifys and chops.

This guy(Danny) would always make an effort to talk to me when we worked. Or even on our 15 min break he'd always like sit next to me while we were outside smoking. ok so sunday (its now friday) i cleaned my ears with a q tip, and with in an hour or so i had the worst pain!! it was on 10/10 scale! i knew i should of went to the ER but i have been sick for a while with the flu, a sinus infection, and sore throat, so i thought it was a ear infection of some sort. the next day the pain was gone, but my hearing is almost gone it that ear! its scary! ever since twice i have had drainage from my ear and it had blood in it. i went to the doc, he couldn't tell if it was torn but said i have those symptoms and most likely it is. so i have to go to an ear,nose and throat doc. well the soonest i can get in is in two weeks!! im so scared, can't hear and its driving me nuts, and i've done my research. come to find out about infections and permanent hearing loss if left untreated. do you think its to late for me to go into the ER now? help in anyway you can, im a nervous reck!!

If you don't plan on having anymore or any kids, then you have made the right decision. My mother was 39 when she had her uterus removed due to fibroids. The recovery depends on what type of surgery you get. If they have to do the small incision then you will recover fast. However my mother had to have her bladder lifted as well because the fibroid was pushing up against it, pushing it down. So she had a full surgery done.She felt better after about a month. During the recovery she had a little trouble getting in and out of bed and experience a littel pain every so often but nothing drastic. But now months later she is like a brand new person. So much energy, always on the go. And let me tell you her life is great, a little too great..LOL. But you will be much better, trust me healthwise and wise...LOL.

Ah, YES I see your point. And many guitar players today just turn up the distortion and rip out crap, while MOST kids your age are listening to it, saying Beethoven and such are boring. They have no clue of the extreme talent and excitement that this music brings and do not appreciate it. On the same lines, there is a whole lot of GOOD, exciting music out there today that's just as good if not better. Yes, if you start sifting your way through the crap, occasionally you'll find a gem. Clical music is soothing to my soul and I love playing the stringed instruments I play or just listening to it, but at the same time, I enjoy the PUMP from rock n roll. It's not all bad and jazz is every bit as good, as is country etc.,etc., Do yourself a favor, keep the clical music, it's fantastic, but don't have blinders to other types of music, you're only cheating yourself. Hi! I'm a college student who had to take out 2 student loans. (I know; I tried to avoid it the best I could, but I really needed it.) well, one is federal loan and the other one is a private. Did he stay for one? Nope. So technically you could even keep from paying for his repairs, but that would be dirty. Just check at the shop when he goes at the same time and come to an agreement on the repairs. Don't tell your insurance company or his. I had the same thing happen to me but I was the one rear-ended. I had a police report done, but I never did anything with it. It just went away. So don't worry so much, just talk to him. He can't screw you over now.

Hi everyone! im a guy and my best friend is a girl, her name is Ashley. We've known each other for about 2 years now. We met at a workshop program in 12th grade and since then we became very bonded. She had her share of friends and i had my own, but no matter what, we would always do many things 2gether and have so much fun. as time went bywe became very bonded, we never felt anything for each other beyond friendship, she became like a sister to me in the longterm. We later on moved to college, and our friendship continued the same way even though we had met new people. We used to go out every friday and talk on the phone for hours almost everyday. we made our group of friends but still our friendship was the same. But around the end of the first semester, she bonded with a group of girls, which werent bad people at all. She started hangin out more with them, something i wasnt against because i know that a girl always likes to hang out with other girls and do things they cant do with male friends. I was ok with it, because she would balance her time spent with them and with me, and we would still talk on the phone everyday and do our things. She would sumtimes invite me to go out with her and her other friends still, so everything was kool, until the last day of the first semester, were we all went in a group to a club, i had a couple of drinks and later that night i was very rude to her(verbaly). we didnt talk to each other during the whole break, even tho i asked to forgive me through a phone talk. So i got myself a girlfriend during that break and made new friends. When we came back to our second semester, we started talkin again and she told me the next day that she needed some help buying her textbooks online. That day i went to her house and spent the whole day with her buyin her books and playing around, we had so much fun and laughed so much, to the point that our friendship was pressumably restored. Then the next night she called me to talk to me about some problems she was having with her boss at her job and i gave her all the advie i could. I thought our friendship had gone back to normal, but apparently i was wrong. The next day she barely talked to me at college, and then the next day she started actin kind of indifferent towards me, even yesterday, i was sittin in the computer lab and some other guys we both know were around me, she started actin very friendly with them(just the way she used to act with me in the past) and ignored me completely, she didnt say a word to me at all. And she doesnt seem mad at me, she just seems indifferent, like she is trying to push me apart. The club I went to this weekend is open really late ( until 7 am) on saturdays. Anyways it was around 3-4 am and we were still there. I'm a 22 year old chick who identifies as biual, although I am mainly interested in females. I'm not quite femme, but I have long hair, and can dress rather girly at times. I guess to the average onlooker I would appear to be quite straight. I slept for 4 hours already and its 10 pm now. I dont have benedryl or anything. I am going to take a warm shower. I can nvr sleep! I'm trying to trace back my ancestry. Both of my parents are from el salvador. What confuses me is that i came out looking diffrent from my brother and sister. I have slanted eyes and dark color skin. And yes my parents from el salvador are my biological parents. Usually people ask me or think that i'm either philipino, asian or mixed with asian. Based on what i know about el salvador is that there are only whites, native americans and mestizos (mix native american and white) in el salvador. Besides i did not see any one with slanted eyes when i went to el salvador. The fact that native americans came from asia to america from the ice bridge 20,000 years ago is not even certain, it's only a speculation. And the asian that came to latin america are in south america. So i was wondering were there even a remotly small percentage of asians in el salvador, it would help explain why i look the way i look. School Fundraisers, good or evil?

I have 4 schoolage kids, and it is fundraiser season once again. My son is selling those happenings books and the other 3 have a catalog full of overpriced crap (I ordered this the past few years, so I know) that they are supposed to sell. Our PTO used the money last year to buy new playgroud equiptment, sad thing is they took out a set of swings, a tire swing and slide and put up this spider web thing instead and a balance beam. SO not being mean but the money isnt being used to benefit the kids so much. Anyway so they have that big program for the kids yesterday getting them all pysched up that if they sell 35 things (cheapest things to buy are $7 wrapping paper) they can get a ride in a limo! OMG! My 6 year old daughter was SO excited about that, I told her that we werent going to sell it this year. (3 kids X 35 =115 items!!) So she was broken hearted and cried for nearly 1/2 hour. I just dont understand why we pay taxes, donate to the PTO,and they expect the kids to sell this crap?

Will Vitamin E oil really help my split ends?

I have REALLY frizzy straight hair that has A LOT of split ends and it's VERY long, bellow my belly on long. I have a lot of split ends from the top of my hair all the way down so getting just "a trim" is out of the question. I was wondering if applying 4000 UE vitamin E oil all over my head, leaving it on for an hour or so, and then washing it out with shampoo and conditioner (Mane n Tail) would make it appear less frizzy and rough? I don't really want to, I spend stupid amounts of time pouring over our pictures and thinking about her. I made a real effort to find a replacment since graduating from uni or doing things to make me forget, but she keeps creeping back in! She doesn't seem to miss me and that hurts.
